Consisting of CK Polymers Ltd, CK Polymers (Scotland) Ltd and CK Polymers (Hong Kong) Ltd our Polymers division provides a complete range of plastics products and services throughout the full product lifecycle. In the first instance we buy and sell baled plastic waste / scrap and regrind / reground, recycled plastic compound and off-spec compounds. With the exception of waste/scrap all plastic products sold by CK Polymers can be supplied with a Certificate of Analysis (COA). Having our own Hong Kong office enables us to pay the best possible prices for baled scrap which would otherwise be worthless in the UK market, whilst keeping an ethical control on the types of company that we sell to. We also provide a wide range of plastic recycling and processing services to the plastics industry including Granulation, Blending, Shredding, Compounding and Polymer Testing. Polymer Reground / Regrind - we supply all plastic materials in regrind (also known as reground) form. If required materials can be supplied tested and backed with a Certificate of Analysis. Recycled Plastic Compound - all of our recycled polymer compounds are produced to customer specifications and are guaranteed by Certificate of Conformity (COC). If required specific test parameters can be recorded and supplied on a COA prior to delivery. Off-Spec Polymer Compound - we supply parcels of off-spec plastic compound from all the major manufacturers. Baled Plastic Waste/Scrap - we have access to a wide variety of packaging scrap from recycling facilities and retail outlets. All scrap is baled to maximise the weight shipped and thus reduce onward transportation costs. Through our plastic recycling and compounding facility in Scotland, CK Polymers are offer a variety of toll/service operations to help you to manage your plastic waste. Service Shredding / Granulation - our recycling facilities enable us to handle plastic waste of all forms and sizes from post production, post industrial and post consumer use. All reground is returned to you in the packaging of your choice and with a Certificate of Analysis if required. Service Compounding - we can take your plastic scrap or reground materials and compound them to your required specification, removing impurities and enhancing properties through the addition of impact modifiers, UV stabilisers etc. Packaging Waste Obligations - CK Polymers are accredited issuers of Packaging Recovery Notes. SOMETHING TO SELL? We buy all plastics types and offer a full collection service. We do not cherry pick the best items we will clear your site of all plastics and pay promptly to agreed terms. We can also provide on-site cages, packaging, skips, trailers etc. to aid with site management. All materials purchased are weighed at an independent public weighbridge.
