C K Polymers Ltd, the plastic recycling and waste management division of CKN Holdings Ltd are pleased to announce the creation of a new operational board of Directors to oversee the next stage in the company’s development.
C K Polymers Ltd, Managing Director, Mark Whitney said
“We started this company as a small plastic trading company just 7 years ago and we now own and operate several recycling operations across the UK, a sales office in Hong Kong and a sales and warehousing operation in Lincolnshire, with a combined throughput of over 40,000 tonnes per year.”
“We are one of the biggest companies of our kind in the UK and this move is demonstrative of our desire to move to the next level.”
Chris Nixon who joined the company in 2004 from Linpac Recycling as commercial manager will take up the position of Key Account Director, responsible for maintaining and developing business with some of C K Polymers larger accounts.
Adrian Matthews (formerly of Luxus Ltd) joined the company in 2005 as Operations Manager and will now take up the role of Operations Director. As well as overseeing Operations at the Lincolnshire Warehouse Adrian is responsible for development of C K Polymers internal procedures and quality control systems. He says “these are exciting times at C K Polymers and I am proud to part of the team that will drive the business forward in the coming years”.
Marc Hallows joined the company from the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2006, and will assume the position of Financial Director. The role will encompass all aspects of the financial management of the company, including the development of new financial controls and reporting mechanisms to ensure C K Polymers Ltd maintains its reputation for being one of the best payers of raw materials suppliers in their field.
